Our Story
Nest and Needle began with a simple observation. Pillows are among the first details people notice in a room. Yet they are often the last details chosen with care. Too many spaces settle for mass-produced décor that almost fits the style, the size, or the purpose.
We set out to change that.
Our name reflects both halves of what we do. The nest is the space you create: a family room, a hotel suite, a corporate lobby, or a first dorm room. The needle is the craftsmanship that makes it unmistakably yours.

1. SHAPE - Shape & Size Selection. You choose the shape, size, and quantity that suit your space. Our team confirms every detail before your order moves forward.
2. SKETCH - Design Conceptualization. You share your inspiration: colors, textures, room photos, or a feeling you want to capture. Our designers return with concepts created for you alone.
3. STITCH - Custom Implementation. Once you approve your design, we tailor your one-of-a-kind piece with precision and care. Not a single thread is cut until you are delighted with the plan.

Meet the Founder
Nest and Needle was founded by Dr. Nicole Singleton Norman, an entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience building businesses and serving clients across the hospitality, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. Her work has always centered on one belief: the details matter.
The idea for Nest and Needle took shape during the remodel of another business's office. As Nicole selected finishes and furnishings, she found herself drawn to the softer details. She noticed the feel of a fabric, the curve of a cushion, and the warmth a single texture could bring to a room.
So, she made a bold choice. Rather than settle for standard office furniture, she had every piece of upholstery hand-crafted. She then layered inviting textures throughout the space and curated each element with care.
The transformation was remarkable. An ordinary workplace became a warm, welcoming environment. The team felt at home, and clients felt the difference from the moment they arrived.
That experience revealed a truth Nicole could not ignore. Warmth is never an accident. It is designed, one texture and one stitch at a time.
Nest and Needle was born from that discovery. Nicole envisioned a company that could bring the same warmth and welcome to homes, hotels, offices, and dorms everywhere. Today, Nicole and the entire Nest and Needle team bring that vision to every piece that leaves the studio.
